I've spent a long time signing and illustrating copies, and to know people are starting to get their copies is great. I've had to hold back giving all my copies away, just because I want people to have them, but it's also been amazing to see the book and kindle has been selling on Amazon. I doubt it'll ever been at break neck speeds! But to know people out there have Toxic City on their shelves is amazing.
This is the final cover reveal. As you can see it's incredibly similar to mine, but BNBSbooks had someone give it a shiny finish, updating the image at the bottom to give it such a sleeker feel, and also improving the text. It really needed that.
I love it. The book itself is very shiny. I like that. I'd be interested in a mat version because I feel like a book like this would look more genuine if it was roughed up and ruined looking, but that's my own fancy. As a book owner, I'd want to keep it clean.
The illustrations I've been putting inside for those special pledgers will be revealed soon, once I know they've managed to get the books for themselves. I loved the art but it's a shame not all of them could go in, mainly down to a lack of space and because they'd lose so much detail. But I like the little pics I've included. Hope you do too when the reveal comes.
